Detailed  Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh Arrival ( D )

On arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnel - Shopping ( B, L  )

AM: In the morning, you will explore the remarkable underground tunnel network and former Viet Cong stronghold at Cu Chi, 30 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi Tunnels consist of a network of more than 200 km of underground tunnels used by resistance fighters during the U.S./Vietnam War.
PM: In the afternoon, free time for your own shopping at local markets and shopping centre.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh - My Tho Day Trip ( B, L)

AM: Depart for My Tho Town. Stop at Go Den Winery to see how they make & taste sticky rice wine and to interact with local people. After rrival in My Tho, take the boat ride across the Mekong River. Transfer to a sampan row boat along the natural canal. Visit a local house, orchard garden, bee farm, sampling honey tea, taking horse-cart ride, coconut candy factory… Lunch at a local house on the island with local specialties.
PM: Drive back to Ho Chi Minh in the late afternoon for overnight.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City Tour ( B,L )

Start the morning tour by visiting the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Then take a photo stop at some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. Continue to visit the War Museum, Ben Thanh market for shopping. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh  Departure (B)

A good opportunity to do some last minute shopping before your transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your ongoing flight.
