Hue Festival 2006 will be organised more professionally

The Hue Festival 2006 will be organised more professionally, socially and profitably, with a view to becoming an attractive trademark in Vietnam as well as in the world.

The affirmation was made at a press conference held by the Thua Thien-Hue provincial People's Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Information, and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in Hanoi on January 20, 2006.

The Hue Festival 2006 titled "Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development" will take place on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of Thuan Hoa-Phu Xuan-Thua Thien Hue region.

The ancient capital of Hue and many surrounding areas will become an exciting cultural space with hundreds of cultural and tourist programmes, honouring special values of the Vietnamese culture from June 3-11, 2006.
