Over 1,000 shipwreck antiques exhibited

More than 1,000 valuable shipwreck antiques will be introduced at two showrooms titled "Antiques from the ocean bottom" to be held in southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau province's Young People Cultural House from April 9 to May 2.

This is an activity of the Sea Festival 2006, which will be co-organised by the Ba Ria-Vung Tau General Museum and the Vietnam Museum of History.

The antiques, found in 10 ships salvaged offshore Vietnam, including six offshore Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, are mainly various types of ceramics from China, Thailand and Vietnam.
