During September’s “Discount Month”, consumers could enjoy special offers of at least 10 per cent off at major super markets, restaurants and hotels in the city, said the local Trade Department and the Saigontourist Corp.

Local retailers Co-op Mart and Maximart, and state-own tourist giant Saigontourist were among those who initiated the campaign, which would be the country’s largest mark down event ever.
