A cuisine, craft street and craft village festival will be held at the Thong Nhat (Unification Park) in Hanoi from March 30 to April 2, 2006.

The festival will introduce Vietnamese food, as well as other foods from Asian, European and American countries which are available in Vietnam.

Five-star hotels, restaurants and famous food stalls will display food cooking methods, fruit and vegetable cutting techniques, dining-table decorations, and cooking methods for some special food.

The craft street and craft village section will present traditional handicraft products and demonstrate craft production in certain stages. On display will also be unique handicraft products, including hand-made pottery, paintings on do paper, and Hang Trong paintings.

The organising board will invite artisans from craft villages to make craft products according to customers’ needs.

Traditional games will also be included during the festival such as swinging, con throwing, and rice cooking on a bamboo frame.
